Women's Under-19 tri-nation T20 series will begin from today with Bangladesh will be taking on their Sri Lankan counterparts in the opening match at the Academy Ground of Cox's Bazar Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium at 12 noon.
Besides the hosts Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Pakistan Women's U-19 the other team are taking part in the tri-nation competition. In this Tri- series, all the teams will face each other in double round format. The final will be played on February 2.
The trophy unveiling ceremony of the series was held at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox's Bazar on Tuesday.
The captains of the three countries put across about their challenges and expectations in a press meet.
During the trophy unveiling occasion of the series, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced Sumaiya Akhtar as the captain of Bangladesh Women's U-19 team.
Bangladesh team started their camp at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox's Bazar Sheikh on January 12.
The final of the tournament will be held on February 2, all the matches will take place at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium.
