About two hunfadred new students of class eleven of Kalidas Baral Degree College located in Chitalmari upazila of Bagerhat, have been provided with a mango sapling of improved variety each.
Alumni association of the college organised an innovative reception on Saturday afternoon at the college premises with the theme “The contribution that the Green Campaign kept.”

The mango saplings were distributed under the auspices of the members of ‘Baral College Sabuj Sathi’ Facebook group formed by the alumni of the college.
On the occasion, the college campus became a gathering place for new and alumni students. Alumni received the new students by offering mango saplings following hygiene rules.
College Principal Swapan Kumar Roy, faculty of the college and alumni of different years were present on the occasion.
