Two die in Chuadanga road crash

Two students of Notipota High School were killed and three other persons were injured in a road accident at village Hajrahati on Chuadanga-Alamdanga road in Chuadanga Sadar Upazila on Monday.

The deceased were identified as Maruf Hossain, 17, son of Abu Bakkar and Sojib Hossain, 17, son of Sorif Hossain of village Notidanga in Alamdanga Upazila of Chuadanga district. The injured are Topon, 34, son of Bijoy of village Atharokhada, Ajimuddin, 52, son of Thandu Rahman of village Jehala in Alamdanga Upazila and Shahin Ali, 22, son of Korban Ali of village Kukiachandpur in Sadar Upazila of Chuadanga.

According to Chuadanga police station and eyewitnesses, Maruf and Sojib were going to Chuadanga town for an urgent work riding motor cycles and collided head on with an Alamshadh. The motorcyclist and the passengers of Alamshadhu were injured in the incident. 

Local people later sent them to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for treatment. Dr. Utpola Biswas, the on duty doctor in the hospital informed that all the injured were given treatment in the hospital but Maruf and Sojib died after a few minutes.
