Many tourists are likely to visit Arunima Resort Golf Club at Panipara under Naragati Police Station in Narail for enjoying lively chirping and fluttering of thousands of native and migratory birds.
Like previous year, migratory birds have started arriving there with the onset of winter season.
At the resort’s greenery, the migratory birds of different species come together all the year round. However, with the onset of the winter season, the anomaly of the birds increases. The resort's vegetation is now a bird sanctuary because of the special surveillance of the resort authorities, which has stopped the treatment of birds. In the sky, wings of different species fascinate the tourists of the resort.
Chairman and Managing Director of Arunima Resort Golf Club Md. Khabir Uddin Ahmed, said that the resort and golf club had been constructed with about 50 acres of land to satisfy the mind of the tourists and give them a lot of joy.
City residents and working people, especially women and children, come here to enjoy the natural environment. The resort has several large ponds. The pond is filled with indigenous species of fish. The huge fish that floats in the pond or reservoir also attracts tourists. There are boats made of snake-like boats for family members or relatives to travel from one end of the pond to the other, nature birds lovers Khabir Uddin said.
With the permission of the resort authorities, fishermen occasionally hunt fish in the pond. There are swimming pools and hanging bridges. To alleviate the fatigue of the tourists, the beautiful resort and fruit trees have been planted in various places of the natural resort. For remote tourists, the resort has indoor dining and lodging accommodations.
Irfan Ahmed, deputy-managing director of Arunima Resort Golf Club, said that there were various types of meetings, seminars and parties arranged in a pleasant atmosphere in the SM Sultan Lounge Room and Convention Hall room. He said there is also a facility to play golf at Arunima Resort Golf Club, the only privately held in the country.
Sources said, a daylong Borshi tournament would be held on November 15 on the ground of the resort where any type of fish catchers can participate. The tournament will start at 6:00 am and end at 6:00 pm the day.
