Tourists throng Cox’s Bazar beach to see last sunset

Local and foreign tourists gathered at Cox's Bazar beach to watch the last sunset of 2022. Although there is no event on the 31st night, the tourists who came to Cox's Bazar enjoyed the last sunset on the beach. Special measures have been taken for the safety of tourists. Four teams of executive magistrates are patrolling tourist areas to stop tourist harassment.

Cox's Bazar is visited by a huge number of tourists due to the weekend with the last day of the English year. Local and foreign tourists who came to the beach said goodbye to the last sun of the year standing on the beach. Tourists gather at different points of the beach from afternoon to watch the last sunset of the year 2022. 

Tipu and Shilpi, a tourist couple from Dhaka's Mirhajirbagh area, said, "We got married six months ago." Today we came to Cox's Bazar to see the last sunset of the year. It feels good to say goodbye to a year standing with other tourists on the beach.

Russell Chowdhury, a tourist from Munshiganj's Sirajdikhan said, another year has been lost from our lives. I saw the last sunset of the year standing on Cox's Bazar beach. 

Four more friends came with me. All in all we had a good time.

Tourists from Khulna, Aziz, Yunus, Alam and Md. Faraz said, friends saw the last sunset scene of the year standing in front of the huge sea. A scene of extraordinary love.

A large number of tourists come to Cox's Bazar on weekends.

Abu Taleb Shah, GM of Hotel The Cox Tour said, there is no event in the hotel on the occasion of Thirty First Night. However, there are 80 percent room bookings.

President of Hotel Motel Owners’ Association Raja Shah Alam Chowdhury said, "We always try to serve the incoming tourists. No hotel is charging extra. 

Sheikh Imrul Islam Siddiqui Rumi, CEO of Hotel Seagal, said that there was no event inside the hotel on the occasion of the 31st night. We have 80 percent room booking.

Superintendent of Police of Tourist Police Cox's Bazar Region Mohammad Zillur Rahman said that special measures have been taken for the safety of tourists who have come to Cox's Bazar to see the end of the year sunset. Security will be provided to tourists who stay overnight on the beach. 

There will be no event on the beach at night. But tourists will definitely be on the beach.

Deputy Commissioner of Cox's Bazar Md Shaheen Imran said that special measures have been taken by the tourism cell for the safety of the tourists who have come to Cox's Bazar to see the end of the year and the new day. 

Four teams headed by four executive magistrates are on duty in the surrounding area including the beach to ensure that tourists do not face any kind of harassment.
