Incidents of theft have become a frequent occurrence at Bhola district. Due to the alarming rate of theft, people in Bhola town fear that such incidents of theft could occur anywhere, anytime. Recently, Rahima Villa faced such an incident where thieves took 40 Bhoris of gold jewelry and Tk two lakh from the building.

Haji Iqbal Hossain, a victim said that thieves took cash, gold jewelry and electric equipment from his building. Recently, a chain of theft incidents created fear among people in the area as more than 25 cases of theft have been occurred recently.
Bhola Sadar Model Police Station OC Enayet Hossain said that none of the victims complained in the police station yet. Still, police are working acting on several tip-offs. Patrolling in the area will be increased to curb down such crimes.
