Railway Security Force (RNB) has arrested seven people, including 500 liters of diesel and 39 large batteries, from the railway station and Tigerpass Marshall Yard. Of these, 5 are railway employees and 2 are foreigners.
They were apprehended from Platform No. 2 and Marshall Yard of Chattogram Station late on Friday night. Three of the seven detainees have been named.
They are railway employees Sumon Shil (35), Amjad Hossain (67) and Md. Shahid (49).
Satyajit Das, assistant commandant of railway security forces said that two outsiders with five railway employees were arrested for stealing 500 liters of oil and 39 batteries.
Preparations are underway to file 2 cases against them.
