For the first time, Tollywood popular actress Srabanti Chatterjee will be seen opposite Dhallywood actor and the general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artistes Association Zayed Khan in the movie titled 'Jakhom'. Film director Apurba Rana is going to make the film.
It is learnt that earlier, actress Apu Biswas was going to do the film opposite Zayed, she even signed a contract with Shapla Media International for this film. The head of the production company Selim Khan said, ‘Apu Biswas is not in the film 'Jakhom' anymore. Due to some personal reasons she withdrew from this film. So a popular actress from Kolkata Srabanti Chatterjee will be seen opposite Zayed Khan as the lead heroine.
Regarding this heroine, Selim Khan further said, 'Srabanti is a very good and popular actress. She also has work experience in Bangladeshi cinema. So I have finalised her.' Earlier she had acted in the film titled 'Bikkhov’ opposite Selim Khan's son Shanto Khan.
The general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artistes Association Zayed Khan has recently been involved in cinema and currently working on a film titled 'Sonar Chor'. This time the actor is getting a big break in his career through the film ‘Jakhom’.
Recently, Shapla Media's 'CineBuzz' app was launched at a five-star hotel in the capital. And the Muhurot of the film 'Jakhom' took place there. The Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni was the chief guest in the ceremony. Special guests were Danny Sidak, director Sohanur Rahman Sohan, actor Zahid Hasan, Misha Saudagar, Zayed Khan, Anisur Rahman Milon, Shant Khan, Dighi and many others.
