Sammilito Facebook Group, a voluntary platform, has distributed soaps and leaflets for preventing coronavirus outbreak and to make the people aware about the disease. Members of the platform distributed the soaps and leaflets in Faridpur town on Sunday. Police Super of Faridpur Almuzzaman inaugurated the awareness campaign in the morning from his office.
Later, members of Sammilito Facebook Group distributed soaps and leaflets among the common people, particularly the low-income people, at Janata Bank Intersection and Adalat Para areas in the town. Student of Govt Rajendra College Jahirul Islam Jahir, Alim Al Rajee, Alpona Akhter, Kamrul Islam, Sadi Mridha, Shankar Kumar Saha, Shuvo and Eklas were present at the time, among others.
It was known that the youths have taken the programme voluntarily to make the people of marginal level aware. During the distribution programme, they called upon the people to avoid all kinds of public gathering, meetings and rallies and urged them to maintain one-meter distance from one another.
