‘Ponchashe Amra’- a special prog on 50 years of the victory

The special programme titled 'Ponchashe Amra', was made on the occasion of the golden jubilee of the victory in the liberation war of 1971, will be shown on several TV channels today.

The country's famous musician TW Sainik, Biplobi Karmakar, Mobashera Alam, Dhaka University teacher Jahida Gulshan, Nabi Chowdhury, an official of a private organisation, Lawyer Motahar Hossain, banker Farhana Yasmin and 50 music lovers of different professions, each in their fifties, took part in the program.

The spectacular ten-minute program included a patriotic song and talks about the liberation war. The show was filmed in Dhaka, Savar, and Manikganj, among other places. Moinul Alam Rumon directed 'Ponchashe Amra.' Jamal Uddin Ahmed was in charge of the planning, scripting, and music direction.

'Ponchashe Amra' is a special program of Victory Day on 16th December Thursday at 9.00 am on ATN Bangla, at 8.45 pm on Channel 9, and on 17th December. It will be broadcast on SA TV at 6.15 pm on Friday.
