In Kishoreganj's Katiadi upazila, the dealership of 'Suruj Enterprise' has been recommended to be canceled on the allegation of irregularities in the sale of TCB products.

On September 29, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Jatishwar Paul submitted a written report at the Mymensingh Regional Office to take action in this regard as per the rules. Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) sells soybean oil, sugar, lentils, gram and onion at fair prices through trucks across the country. However, several shops including Suruj Enterprise under Katiadi Upazila did not sell the products at truck sale points in the current fiscal year. Rather Suruj Enterprise along with other TCB approved shops are selling TCB products in the black market for nefarious purposes. Meanwhile, the administration has sent a report recommending cancellation of dealership as allegations of irregularities in the sale of TCB products have been proved.
