A popular novel by famous novelist Zahir Raihan is ‘Shesh Bikeler Meye’. Now this novel is being made into a television drama. It has been directed by Hasan Rezaul. In this, Irfan Sajjad, Sadia Jahan Prova, Arsha, Tasnuva Tisha, Nusrat Papia, Dilara Zaman, Masum Bashar, Dilu Khan have played different roles.
Regarding the play, Hasan Rezaul said, "I am doing literary work more. Earlier I have worked with writers like Harshankar Jaladas, Rabindranath Tagore, Selim Al Din, Syed Shamsul Haq. The desire to make a drama on the novel written by Jahir Raihan, ‘Shesh Bikeler Meye’, was long overdue. Finally, that desire has been fulfilled.”
The director said, the name of the drama can be changed later. Apart from shooting, the permission was obtained from his family before shooting.
Meanwhile, many literary works of Zahir Raihan were read by Irfan Sazzad earlier but this is the first time he is making something out of one. He is very excited about the work. He said, “The work was done with great care. NOC has been taken from Zahir Raihan's family for the story. I've shot for four days. It was a tough job. But after finishing, I found that it was a standard work.”
Director Hassan Rezaul said the drama will be broadcasted on the upcoming Eid ul Fitr on NTV.
