Zahedi Foundation donated a pick up van to Jhenaidah Sadar Hospital for carrying oxygen cylinders for Covid-19 patients. The vehicle was handed over to the hospital authority through a simple ceremony on Wednesday morning.
Presided over by superintendent of the hospital Dr. Harun Or Rashid, Jhenaidah-1 MP Abdul Hyee handed over the key of Taka 10 lakh pick up van to the superintendent at the hospital auditorium.
Superintendent of police (SP) Muntasirul Islam, Jhenidah municipality mayor, also general secretary of ruling AL Jhenidah district unit general secretary Saidul Karim Mintu, Poura unit president, as well as general secretary of district sports association (DSA) Jiban Kumar Biswas attended as special guests. Zahedi Foundation executive committee member Qayum Shahrier Zahedi Hizol, Tabibur Rahman Labu, medicine specialist of Jhenidah Sadar hospital Dr, Jakir Hossain among others remain present.
