Md. Zahangir Alam Manik FCS has been elected as a new Council Member of ICSB.
He was elected in the by-election of one vacant post of 4thCouncil of Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB), held on Saturday at the Institute premises.
A total of three candidates contested in this by-election. Zahangir Alam Manik FCS is currently serving as the Chairman of Dhaka Regional Chapter Sub Committee of ICSB. Manik is working as a Company Secretary of Government owned powergeneration company, named B-R Powergen Limited under the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources.
He is also the Founder, Council Member & Chairman of the Foundation of Chartered Taxation of Bangladesh (FCTB) which is a non-profit organization engaged in tax awareness, research, tax education, innovation and revenue literacy.
