A number of youths of Kaliganj upazila in Jhenaidah are willing to serve for the affected people following coronavirus outbreak.  The youths sat in the meeting and expressed their opinion for short course training to deal the matter effectively.

Saiduzzaman Sabuj, advisor of Blood Bank of Kaliganj, told the Bangladesh Post that they have taken such decision considering the shortage of health department activists in the country. Their small initiatives might be a model of sacrifice for the nation.

If a short course training is arranged for them, they could serve the ailing people without any remuneration, he added. Volunteers Synthia, Al Masum and some others expressed the same opinion.

Kaliganj Ancholik Bhasha Group, Blood Bank of Kaliganj, Diploma Engineers Students’ Association, Roddur, Blood Bank of Jhenidah, Manasmukti Pathagar, Adarsha Chhatra Samaj and some other groups volunteers desired to provide services here, Saiduzzaman Sabuj said.
