A young man was allegedly stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in an area under Sonadanga police station of Khulna city early Monday.
The victim was identified as Golam, 25, son of Md Ali Hossain, hailed from Moyur Resident srea of Harintana in the city. He used to work as a police source.
Quoting witnesses, police said a gang of three to fourth persons stabbed the youth with sharp weapons around 12:30 am, leaving him critically injured.
When the miscreants left the scene, locals rushed him to Khulna Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Sonadanga Police Station Officer-in-charge (investigation) Md Mizanur Rahman said they have already started a drive to detain those involved in the murder.
