A youth was stabbed to death by unidentified miscreants in the city's Banani area on early Friday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Monir Hussain, 19, a resident of East Nakhalpara of Tejgaon. He used to work at a private company in the city's Adabor area.
Sub Inspector Fazal of Banani police station said the incident might have occurred between 11:30 pm to 11:45 pm near Shetu Bhaban of Banani. Monir was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, SI Fazal said. The body was kept at DMCH morgue for autopsy.
