A youth was crushed under the wheel of a train at College Gate area in the district town on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Sadek Mia, 22, resident of Habiganj District.
Subrata Bishwas, Officer-in-Charge of Brahmanbaria Railway Police Station, said Sadek Mia was crushed under the wheel of Mymensingh bound Bijoy Express coming from Chattogram while it was crossing the Brahmanbaria Railway Station at College Gate area, leaving him critically injured.
Later, the locals rescued him from the spot in critical condition and took him to Brahmanbaria General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
