A youth was killed as a vehicle hit him in front of Salauddin Hospital in the city’s Wari area this early Tuesday morning, reports BSS. The deceased was identified as Tatalu, 23, son of Ramna hailed from Dhalpur area of Jatrabari in the capital. Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost Inspector Bacchu Mia confirmed the incident. The accident took place in the area when the vehicle hit Tatalu at late night, leaving him critically injured, police said. He was rushed to DMCH where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
