As a sequel of previous enmity, a young man of Chirirbandar was killed by his rivals at Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Thursday morning.
The victim was identified as Arman Ali (35). Being stabbed by his rivals, he was admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries 12-day after the incident. Two persons were also injured in the attack. Police and family sources of the victims informed, in the morning of 13 December, a jack fruit tree belong to Anisur Rahman was slightly damaged by a brick laden tractor belonged to Arman. As a result, Anisur and his gang members attacked Arman Ali and his family members with lethal weapons like Ram dao and axes. Five persons including Arman Ali, Imran Ali and Moniruzaman Munna were severely injured in the attack. They were all admitted to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital at first from where Arman was shifted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital as his condition deteriorated. Arman died at RMCH on Thursday morning. Father of the deceased filed a case with Chirirbandar Police station. Subrata Kumar Roy, Officer-in-Charge of Chirirbandar Police station said action will be taken according to the post mortem report.
