The body of a young man was recovered from a pond at Shibpur village of Durgapur upazila on Monday.
Police recovered the body of Osman Ali, 45, in the morning and sent it to the hospital for autopsy.
Officer in charge of Durgapur police station Mahmudul Hasan said that locals saw the body floating in the pond around 11 am and informed police.
However, actual reason of death could not be known immediately.
Police are trying to know the death matter, said the OC.
