A frustrated young man, committed suicide by hanging himself in Santhia upazila of Pabna district. He committed suicide in his house on Thursday night.
The deceased is identified as Enamul Haque, son of Ataur Rahman, a retired army member of Bamandanga village of Ataikula upazila.
According to local sources, Enamul Haque completed Honours and Masters in English from Pabna Government Edward College and first joined Haji Jasim Uddin High School in Banagram as a part-time teacher.
Later he and his wife worked in a hospital in Dhaka. He moved home because he did not have a job at the time.
Enamul’s relationship with his father, mother and wife was not going well for a long time due to frustration of not getting a good job. After losing his job, he committed suicide out of frustration.
Ataikula Police Station Senior Inspector (SI) Subhash Chandra said the body was recovered and sent to Pabna morgue for autopsy.
