A youth was burnt to death, along with his motorcycle, in Faridpur area at Alamdanga upazila of Chaudanga on Tuesday night.
The deceased was identified as Sabuj, 25, son of Joynal, resident of Bademaju village under Dauki union of the upazila. He used to trade old motorcycles.
Officer-in-Charge of Alamdanga police station Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter. He said on information, they reached the spot. It was initially reported that the boy's name is Sabuj.
He was burnt to death along with his motorcycle. We have started investigating the matter, he said.
UP member of Belgachhi union said the incident occurred in my ward. The locals informed the matter to me and police in morning.
I went to the spot and saw Sabuj was burned to death along with his motorcycle.
The body was found under the motorcycle.
Chuadanga Additional Superintendent of Police Anisuzzaman said a youth was burnt to death in Meheguni Bagan of Alamndanga. Investigation is ongoing.
