Different versions, different opponents, different conditions. However, the team's relatively junior cricketers played a key role in Bangladesh's success in the two consecutive series. The youngsters were behind the unforgettable success in the Tests in New Zealand. Liton Das, Mehedi Hasan Miraj and Afif Hossain were the main contributors to the Bangladesh’s ODI series win against Afghanistan at home.

Liton made only 1 run in the first ODI. He made up for everything in the remaining two matches. In the second match he scored 136 runs off 126 balls. He pulled the team alone in the last match. 86 runs came from his bat, all the others scored runs.

Liton averaged 74.33 runs in 3 matches and scored 233 runs at 90.28 strike rates. The second highest is Rahmat Shah 133 of Afghanistan. Najibullah Zadran (122), Rahmanullah Gurbaj (120) and Afif scored 111 runs. Miraj has scored 87 runs in two innings in three matches.

Miraj became Man of the Match in one of the two matches that Bangladesh has won in the series, Liton in the other. Liton is also the Man of the series.

In the first match, Bangladesh lost 6 wickets for 45 runs in a chase of 216 runs. Then Afif and Miraj got an incredible victory in the record partnership of 174 runs for the seventh wicket. Holding the helm of the team, pulling the innings with responsibility, perfect finishing in the end. Everything had the touch of mature cricket. Liton has been seen doing the same throughout the series. Understanding the situation, taking time in the beginning, taking the team in a good position, and taking quick runs. He did the job smoothly. There was a time in the country's cricket when junior cricketers could not take responsibility. However, the last two series made that theory fade away.
