The Under-19 Asia Cup Cricket is going to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 29 when a 14-member squad of the defending champions Bangladesh left for Dubai on Sunday at 10 am.
Azizul Hakim Tamim will lead Bangladesh Under-19 team in the Men’s ODI Asia Cup.
Earlier, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced the 14-member Bangladesh Under-19 team on last Thursday. Azizul Hakim Tamim, who will lead the team, stated his goal to retain the title of the tournament and also confident of winning the
World Cup again, they won in 2020.
Bangladesh is in Group 'A' when Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Nepal are the other teams were slated in the same group. Bangladesh will play against Afghanistan on the opening day of the tournament at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on November 29.
The second encounter of the young Tigers against Nepal at the same venue on December 1 and will face Sri Lanka in their last group stage match at the same ground on December 3.
