Young man stabbed to death in Sarail

An young man named Lal Khan (25) was stabbed to death for asking for dues  owed in the inn of Brahmanbaria.

The incident took place at Karmakar Para of Upazila Sadar recently.

Deceased Lal Khan is the son of Abul Kalam of Khatihata village of Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila. In this incident, the police arrested two people.

The arrested are Alamin (35) son of deceased Shafiq Mia of Sejuamora village of Vijaynagar upazila and Jasim (36) son of Noor Mia of Payag Narsingsar village of Brahmanbaria Sadar upazila. 

They both live in the inn with their families.

Sarail Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Emranul Islam said that the deceased Lal Khan lent money to his friend Alamin. 

On Friday night, when Lal Khan asked for the money owed, the two had an argument.

Later Alamin and his accomplice Jasim stabbed Lal Khan. He was seriously injured when local people rescued him and took him to Sarail Upazila Health Complex, where the doctor declared him dead. In this incident, the local people arrested Jasim with a knife and handed him over to the police.  Later, the police raided and arrested Alamin. The body of the deceased has been sent to Brahmanbaria General Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
