A man killed in a road crash at DEPZ area of Ashuliya in Savar on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Manjurul Islam, 30, son of Nur Islam of Shirajganj District.
Quoting locals Abdus Salam, Sub-inspector of Ashulia police station said, the accident took place around 10am at DEPZ area on Nabunagar-Chandra Highway of Ashulia on Saturday morning when a passenger bus of ‘Rocky Paribahan’ hit the man from behind and leave him died. Later, we went to the spot and recovered the dead body.
We seized the bus and a case was filed with Ashulia police station in this regard, added the police official.
