‘Young entrepreneurs need to come forward for self-reliant digital Bangladesh’

Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Md Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said, "E-commerce is a business that gives you the opportunity to make your debut as a national and international businessman."  He called upon the young entrepreneurs to come forward to build a self-reliant digital Bangladesh.  So everyone has to acquire ICT knowledge and become a skilled manpower.

  He was speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting on the occasion of e-business training organized by Bangladesh Online Entrepreneurs Association at the auditorium of Best Western Alliance Hotel in the city on Thursday morning.

 Bangladesh Online Entrepreneurs Association President Mostari Morshed Smriti presided over the function.  Honorable Consultant of South Africa Solaiman Alam Seth, CEO of Ranks FC Properties Tanvir Shahriar Rimon, Media personality Julhas Alam, President of Women e-Commerce Forum Nasima Akter Nisha, Founder of Startup Chattogram Arafatul Islam Akib spoke on the occasion.

 CCC mayor said the country was going through a difficult time as a result of the deadly Corona epidemic.  The use of information technology is very important at this time.  Young entrepreneurs will benefit from this training.

 He said the people of the country are enjoying the benefits of Digital Bangladesh in various fields including online education, health, buying and selling due to the development of digital infrastructure in the country in the last 11 years under the direction of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and ICT Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy.  Therefore, the young entrepreneurs urged the trainees to create employment opportunities for others by becoming entrepreneurs themselves instead of just running after jobs.  

He called on all to adhere to government-mandated hygiene measures to prevent the spread of the virus, as the prevalence of corona varicose veins has already increased worldwide.  At the end of the ceremony, the mayor handed over the crest to the trainees.
