World Sight Day observed in Kishoreganj on Saturday. A discussion meeting was held on Kishoreganj Government Girls' Orphanage auditorium.
Deputy Director of Social Welfare Kamruzzaman Khan presided over the meeting. Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shamim Alam was attended as chief guest.

It was addressed among others by Swed Bangladesh Kishoreganj Unit President Advocate Maya Bhowmik, Social Welfare Assitant Director Md. Shohidullah, Kishoreganj Government Girls' Orphanage Deputy Superintendent Harun-or-Rashid spoke on the
occasion and they discussed the importance of this day. Later a colourful cultural programme was held on.
