The 54th World White Can Day has been celebrated at Tangail district. On the occasion of the day, a Hadudu competition has been organized for the the visually impaired participatedin the special Olympics.
The game was held on Saturday morning at the Tangail Outer Stadium, organized by the Grameen Disability Development Center by the courtesy of Alok Health Care.
Aminul Islam, Deputy Commissioner of Tangail chaired as the chief guest in the occasion.
HK Yousafzai Tanu, President of the Group Disability Development Center presided over the occasion in the presence of chief guest Lokman Hossain , Managing Director of Alok Healthcare and others including Tahmina Sultana, Assistant Attorney General, Supreme Courtof Bangladesh, and Mirza Moinul Hossain Lintu, General Secretary of Tangail District Sports Association.
White and blue marked teams participated in the Hadudu game. The blue team defeated the white team by 19-14 points.
Earlier, three visually impaired persons were given smart white.
