World Human Rights Day was celebrated in Jamalpur under the theme 'Dignity, Freedom and Justice for All'. Jahangir Salim, President of Jamalpur District Committee of Human Rights Defender Network and Combined Social Movement, presided over the human chain held at Jamalpur Dayamoyi Chatter. Under the direction of Ramen Banik, General Secretary of Hindu, Buddhist, Christian Unity Parishad, Jamalpur District Branch, Assistant Director Program of the Development Association, Murshed Iqbal, spoke among others.

Throughout the day, human rights organizations hold various programs in a festive atmosphere.
