Shariatpur Local Government Engineering Department's Small Water Resources Development Project Phase II Orientation Workshop was held in Shariatpur on Tuesday.
The day-long workshop was held at a local hotel under the chairmanship of Md. Shahjahan Faraji, Execu
tive Engineer of Shariatpur LGED.
The programme was attended by district and upazila level officials of Agriculture, Animal Resources, Fisheries, Women's Affairs and Cooperatives Departments.
ANM Enayet Ullah, Additional Chief Engineer of Dhaka LGED was present as the chief guest at the workshop. Md. Khaled Chowdhury, Supervising Engineer of IWRM Unit and Khandaker Mahbub Hossain, Supervising Engineer of Madaripur Region spoke as special guests.
Shariatpur Agriculture Department Deputy Director Amir Hamza, District Animal Resources Officer Subodh Kumar Das, District Fisheries Officer Abdur Rauf and others also addressed the programme.
