A two-day long workshop entitled ' Role of Information and Communication Technology for the Fourth Industrial Revolution' organised by the department of ICT of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology starts at the Seminar Room of Computer Science and Engineering department of RUET on Wednesday.
Professor Dr Rafiqul Islam Sheikh, Vice-Chancellor of RUET inaugurated the workshop as he chief guest.
Presided over by Director of IICT and Registrar of RUET Prof Dr M Salim Hossain, the function was attended and addressed, among others, by the Dean of the Faculty of Electric and Computer Devices Prof Dr M Nazrul Islam Mondal, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof Dr M Imdadul Haque as special guests while Assoc Director of IICT Prof Dr M Masud Rana, Assist Prof of IICT Prof M Soyeb Akhter delivered welcome speeches at the function. The function was conducted by the Lecturer of IICT Afsana Afin.
