Workshop on feature writing held at CoU

A workshop on feature writing titled ‘Feature Keno Likhbo, Kivabe Likhbo’ was held at Comilla University on Saturday.

Comilla University Journalists Association (CoUJA) organised the program at its office. This is the fifth chapter of a consecutive training session on journalism entitled ‘Golpe Adday Sagbadikota.’

Mutasim Billah, lecturer of Archaeology department of the university and founder of Feature Writers Association of Bangladesh, addressed the program as the trainer while Tanvir Sabik, President of CoUJA was on chair and Shahadat Biplob, General Secretary of the association, conducted it.

At the training session, Mutasim Billah said, 'those who are accustomed on writing features never get frustrated as they write about many peoples’ extreme misery in life. The realization of which helps the writer to be amused with self.'

Journalists, working at the university, and students of different departments who are interested in feature writing attended the event.
