A two-day long virtual workshop on curriculum development for university teachers were held recently.
The Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Dhaka University (DU) organized the teachers on November 23 and November 26, said a press release.
Director of the Centre Professor Dr Sabita Rizwana Rahman delivered the welcome speech.
Sheikh Hasina University Treasurer Professor Subrata Kumar Aditya, Professor of Criminology at DU Zia Rahman, Professor of Education and Research Institute Mahbub Ahsan Khan and Professor of Linguistics Syed Shahriar Rahman discussed “Faculty Guidelines & Curriculum Development”, “Faculty Guidelines & Curriculum Development-Faculty of Social Sciences & relevant Institutions”, “Hands on Training and overall aspects of Curriculum Development” and “Faculty Guidelines & Curriculum Development-Faculty of Arts & Relevant Institutions” respectively.
Additional Director of the Center ATM Samshuzzoha was present on the occasion.
The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning has been organising workshops for teachers and officials of the university.
