A day-long workshop on ‘Article and Feature Writing’ was held at Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia on Saturday around 11:00am. Bangladesh Torun Column Lekhok Forum (BTCLF), university unit organized the workshop at 116 no room of the Teacher Student Cultural Center (TSCC) on the campus.
Assistant Professor Shoriful Islam Juyel, advisor of the BTCLF was present the workshop as chief guest while S A H Wali Ullah, President of the unit presided over the program. Dipankar Goutam, assistant editor of the Daily Manobkantha addressed the event as chief discussant.
Professor Dr SK Rezaul Karim of Bangla department, Sarkar Masum, former president of IU Press Club, Ashiqur Rahman former president of the forum university unit and among others were also present.
The chief discussant focused on the strategy and method of writing article, essay, column and feature in his speech. A certificate was distributed to the participants at the end of the workshop.
