You haven’t been doing any new projects lately. When will you return to work? The first movie in my career was directed by Masud Hasan Ujjal called ‘Unponchash Batash’. It's been a long time since I've finished it. The movie has not been released yet. I am also waiting for its release. I thought I would start a new project after its release. Since this movie is taking a while to be released, I think I will start working again. For this movie, I was stopped working in media for a year. It is expected to be released this February. You took such a long break just for this movie. Did you feel bad?
Honestly it was my dream job. This is not too much time for a good project. I believe that after the release of this movie, everyone will understand my decision. Recently, you have expressed your desire to return to work via a status on Facebook. Did you receive any new projects?
I had good luck in that regard. I have received many job offers in the last one year. But I refused all the work. I want to start working soon. Multiple scripts were offered to me after my announcement. I want to select those that appeal the most to me. Drama, telefilm or cinema?
I don't want to work in television drama anymore. I want to work in cinema. I also want to work on web series for various streaming platforms online.
Which projects will you be seen in first?
I am in talks for both web series and cinema. Neither has been finalized yet. I will do the one which will be decided on first.
I have heard you're about to embark on a journey as a producer? I want to start two projects from my production house. I have been planning this for a long time. I will present myself as a producer soon.
Will you act in these yourself? It depends on the script. If there is a character that goes with me, I'll work. If not, someone else will take the role. I would love to work with Porimoni.
