Women rally held in Narail

A women rally was held under the project titled strengthening campaign for the development of rural communities in Narail on Thursday.

NarailDeputy Commissioner Anjuman Ara was present as the chief guest at the women's gathering organized by the district information office at Gobra Parbati Vidyapeeth premises in Sadarupazila.

Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Reazul Islam, district education officer SM Chayedur Rahman, International Child Peace Award winning young entrepreneur Sadat Rahman Shakib, President of Gobra Parbati Vidyapeeth Managing Committee Engineer Shailendranath Saha, Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation in NarailBillal Bin Kashem, Narail Press Club President Enamul Kabir Tuku were present as special guests at the women's gathering. Narail district information officer Elin Saeed-ur-Rahman gave up welcome speech in the women's gathering. Senior information officer of Jashore district information office ASM Kabir Hossain presided over the function. 

Headmaster of Gobra Parbati Vidyapeeth Abdur Rashid spoke on the occasion. Department of Mass Communication director Munshi Jalal Uddin joined the programme through video call. 

Speakers said at the women's gathering included 10 special initiatives of the Prime Minister to improve the living standards of the rural population - My Home My Farm, Shelter Project, Digital Bangladesh, Education Support Programme, Women's Empowerment, House to House Electrification, Community Clinic and Mental Health, Social Security Programme, Investment Development and Environmental Protection Discusses the horrors of drugs, child marriage and counter-terrorism activities.

Apart from this proper use of information technology, priority given to women's education, ensuring gender equality and the achievements of Bangladesh in various national and international fields in the last 10 years were highlighted at the gathering.

Sadat Rahman Shakib, a young entrepreneur who has won the International Children's Peace Prize, discusses cyber bullying for teenagers and urges them to be vigilant so that no more teenagers fall victim to cyber bullying.
