A woman, aged about 25, was allegedly raped by two miscreants on Tuesday night at Shamoli picnic spot in Gazipur. Jabedul Islam, OC of Joydebpur Police Station, said that on information, they rescued the victim and arrested two suspects from the place. The arrestees are Jahid Hasan, 26, and Rakibul Islam, 32, of BK Bari village under Gazipur sadar upazila.
The OC added that two miscreants brought the girl at that spot. At one stage, she was raped. A case was filed with Joydebpur Police Station in this connection.
