Benapole Port Police Station recovered hanging body of a woman from Lotadighi village at Benapole on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Sharmin Akhter, 20, wife of Aktarul Islam of the village.
Police said that they recovered the hanging body of the woman from her bedroom in the house. In the morning, family members saw the body hanging with the sealing fan in the bed room.
They informed the police. After recovery, police sent the body to Jashore general Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Sub-inspector of Benapole port police station HM Latif confirmed the matter.
Police said that they are investigating the matter.
