Police recovered the body of a woman from Bagharpara upazila in Jashore on Saturday morning. The body was recovered from a field at Mahmud Alipur village in the upazila. The deceased woman was about 25 to 30 years old. However, the body has not been identified yet by Police.
Police sources said that locals reported to them after seeing the body of a woman lying dead beside the field in the morning. Police rushed to the spot and recovered the body. Her head was tied up with a pink scarf and she had blood stains on her throat and face.
Officer-in-Charge of Bagharpara Police Station Syed Al Mamun said the body was recovered and sent to Jashore 250-bed General Hospital morgue for autopsy. He also said that, initially it seems that she was murdered and left dead. An investigation is underway in this case.
