An elderly woman was crushed under a bus on Rajshahi-Chapai Nawabganj highway at Railgate Bipass area of Godagari upazila on early Sunday. The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Abdus Salam, Sub inspector of Godagari police station, said that the accident took place in the area when ‘Chapai Nawabganj-bound’ bus hit the woman, leaving her dead on the spot. The body has been kept at the morgue of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
