Police have arrested the woman who cut down plants in a rooftop garden at a building on CRP Road in Savar on Wednesday noon.
The arrestee was identified as Khaleda Akhter Lucky, 45, wife of local resident Selim.
Parveen, duty officer of Savar Police Station, said a team of police, led by Sub-Inspector (SI) Noor Mohammad Khan, arrested her from her house.
The video went viral on social media, including Facebook, showed the woman cutting down some plants on Tuesday.
The video was posted by the victim, Sumaiya Habib. Her mother made the garden at the rooftop. Lucky did not stop cutting the plants even after the crying of the garden owner.
Lucky, even along with her son and his friends, attempted to hit Sumaiya at one stage of obstruction.
