A woman was electrocuted to death at village Shakharia in Jibannagarupazila of Chuadanga district on June 6.
The deceased was identified as Rizia Khatun, 65, wife of Rustom Ali of village Shakharia in the upazila.
According to family members and Saiful Islam, O C of Jibannagar police station, she was taking her daughter's dress from a tin-shed house roof and touched an alive wire of electricity leaving her dead. Police recovered the body.
After examining and confirming the death of electrocuting she was buried at the village grave yard.
