A female patient suspected to be infected with Coronavirus died on her way to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at the early hours of Monday.
Samples from the dead body for testing have been collected to ensure whether she died of Corona, informed Dr. Ariful Kabir, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer at Mohanpur.
He further said, Purnima Khatun(35) wife of Kumar of Kharpatti village under Mohanpur upazila had been suffering from fever, cough, cold and loose motion for last 4 to 5 days.
As her condition deteriorated, she was admitted to Mohanpur health Complex around 10-30 PM Sunday but the attending doctors referred her to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital as she suffered from breathing problem.
On the way to RMCH, she died when her relatives returned with the dead body to the Health Complex where samples from her body was collected for testing.
