Without ideology no political party can survive

A political party in a democratic country cannot survive for long time without an ideology. Like BNP, the Jatiya Party is also on the verge of extinction as it does not have any ideology. As both BNP and Jatiya Party were born in cantonment, it is easily sensed that they do not have any ideology of doing something good to the country. So they always entertain and facilitate a group of beneficiaries and vested quarters. It is interesting to note that both General Ziaur Rahman and General HM Ershad grabbed the state power at gun point.

And these two persons (Zia and Ershad) had only intension to demise the spirit of the War of Liberation through rehabilitation of the anti-liberation forces, killers of Bangabandhu, cheats and touts. Our Constitution declared nationalism, socialism, democracy and secularism as the fundamental principles of the republic.

It proclaimed fundamental human rights, including freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of movement, freedom of assembly, the right to education and public healthcare among others. But founders of these two political parties never believed in our four fundamental principles and accordingly their parties also do not believe in the interest of the state.

That is why these two political parties are getting isolated from the people gradually. And they will be phased out from the country’s politics in the long run. The Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASAD), another political party formed in 1972 on the basis of contradiction. As a result the party has already been spilt into innumerous factions. And the party is also on the verge of extinction It is very clear to all that like BNP and JASAD, the Jatiya Party will also be phased out gradually.
