The West Indies Cricket Board (CWI) appreciated the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for hosting the ODI and Test series successfully and safely during the corona situation. At the same time, they have expressed their desire to organize a series against Bangladesh at home.

The cricketers and coaching staff of the West Indies team were very happy with the hospitality of Bangladesh in this one month tour. The Caribbeans have praised the arrangements such as medical, logistical arrangement and biosecurity. The West Indies Board has sent a message expressing their gratitude towards BCB. It was reported by the media of Bangladesh Prothom Alo.

"It is really a great thing that we were able to host the West Indies successfully and without any hitches during this coronavirus pandemic. It gives us confidence that we were able to arrange everything accordingly returning to cricket after almost a year-long gap. It is the result of the hard work that we put in to arrange the tour. The fact that we have been appreciated by the CWI for such a successful tour also sends a positive message towards other international sides who are to tour Bangladesh in future," said BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury.

West Indies are set to play a series against Sri Lanka at home. However, (CWI) hinted that they could arrange a series at home with Bangladesh. "We thank the Bangladesh cricket team and we would like to see Bangladesh at home in the near future."

Windies played three ODIs and a two-Test series in Dhaka and Chattogram. Bangladesh won the ODI series 3-0 while the visitors whitewashed the Tigers in the two-Test series.
