Jatiya Sangsad Whip and Chittagong-12 lawmaker Shamsul Haque Chowdhury has been infected with coronavirus. Whip son Chittagong Chamber Director Nazmul Karim Chowdhury Sharun confirmed the matter on Saturday. Family said the lawmaker is now in quarantine at his home in Chattogram city and his physical condition is fine.
Whip Shamsul felt ill after attending the 14th annual meeting of the Port Advisory Committee on December 20. He tested positive for coronavirus on December 23.
