Jaaz Multimedia is bringing legendary Kazi Anwar Hossain’s 'Masud Rana' to the big screen. The film will be made on the big screen at a cost of Tk 83 crore. There is no end to the criticism and debate about who will act in it.
The production company also did not make less plays on the film's casting. Finally, it was learned that 'Dhaka Attack' star ABM Suman will play the role of Masud Rana. Last week he signed a contract with Jaaz for the film.

About this, Pia said, “I have not yet signed a formal agreement. However, word of the work has been verbally finalised . Beyond that, I don't want to say anything about the film so far. I want everyone to find out about the matter from the production company. However, I am preparing for the film. If all goes well, something good is going to happen.”
Besides, actors Shahidul Alam Sachu, Azad Abul Kalam, Monira Mithu, Zahid Hossain Shobhan are also reported to be working in the film. Their contract singing has already been completed.
No one from the competition organised by Channel i ‘Ke Hobe Masud Rana’ will be taking part in the film.

The film is being made on the first episode of Masud Rana series 'Dhongsho Pahar'. Its English name is 'MR-9' and Bengali name will be 'Masud Rana'. The shooting will be in Africa, Mauritius, Thailand and Bangladesh. The film will come in English and Bengali and will be released worldwide.
