National Film Award winning actress Zakia Bari Mamo has been playing challenging roles one after another for several years.

The question was ‘What kind of story and what kind of character do you want me to act in? Seriously.’ In response to Mamo's status, hundreds of fans and journalists surrounded Mamo and expressed their wishes.
A number of interesting and intriguing ideas came out from this post. Many have said that she is the right person for the role of mother. Mamo also responded to various comments from all readers and fans.
Mamo said, “My fans are so interested in me that I wouldn’t have known it if it hadn’t been for this post. The audience wants to see me in different ways in different types of stories, it is a big inspiration for me.
Although I’m very picky about storytelling and character selection right now, I’ll be much more serious about it from now on because of the audience and fans that I have been able to become today's Zakia Bari Mamo. So I have a strong desire to work on dramas with better stories in the future.”
